for those who don't know, blood is a 1997 FPS game where you play as Caleb. an undead, heart-eating gunslinger with a knack for making pop culture references 30-60 years before they exist. he was part of a cult that worshipped tchernabog, the dark god. then tchernabog killed caleb, his wife opheliah, and his two friends Gabriel and Ishmael, just so he could take calebs power when he rose again. well rise again he did. he even quoted army of darkness. then he killed tchernabog before he even left his little monster closet, because he is the easiest boss in the game.
long story short, how would Caleb fare in the world of index?
well he can't die, because he is already dead. and he can kill any entity with any weapon that isn't god, assuming tchernabog was immortal.
if I could give him an Esper power, it would be what I call "Logic Manipulation". because I tried to apply logic to some stuff about him and eventually went "screw it. I'll let him make his own logic."
his power would consist of taking advantage of loopholes in logic, twisting logic, and even extending logic to suit the situation he is in. he then would apply this new logic into reality. basically a less powerful Ars Magna, except unlike Parappa the rapper, he does not have to believe it. the most powerful logic he can use is bad logic. for example:
"I can't die. i'm already dead." simple right? now for this logic.
"no mortal man can kill a god. lucky for me, i'm dead." a bit odd. now brace yourself for this.
"my muscles are rotting. so I can move them as fast as I want. they're not bound my mortal limitations." crazy right?
one last example: "magic will not work on me. it doesn't exist. because I say so."
basically, he's going to be Flumpty Bumpty: immune to the plot and can trancend time and space.
how do you guys think he will fare? remember. he killed a GOD by spamming napalm, dynamite, and shells at him in a short time frame.
also, he eats hearts. that is the main health pickup in Blood.
