"In de Railgun" (いん de れーるがん In de Rērugan?) is the first chapter of the 4-koma Koushiki Anthology manga, released as part of its first volume on March 27, 2012. It was drawn by Mishima Kurone.
Synopsis[]
Shirai Kuroko harasses Misaka Mikoto into going out to play. She tries to get them to go out alone but Misaka invites Saten Ruiko and Uiharu Kazari along as well. Uiharu informs them of a new confectionery near the station but before they go Misaka is suddenly hit by a crow. She wonders what is going on and then spots several crows flying around an seemingly unconscious Index. Misaka runs over to check on her and looks around for Kamijou Touma but doesn't see him. Index is revealed to be awake but hungry and complains to Misaka. She relents and treats Index to food in the nearby restaurant.
In the restaurant, Misaka gets a reservation for the two of them. Index begins to lament that her place as heroine is being taken away as they approach their seats and look at what food to order. Flashing forward Index is seen with a large stack of empty food bowls. As Misaka is about to grab the karaoke song list, Index warns her not to as it could be a Grimoire. The two then compare chest sizes but feel each other are equally pitiful.
As this was going on, Kuroko, Saten, and Uiharu are seen at the previously mentioned confectionery eating parfaits. Kuroko wonders where Misaka is and questions if its "that boy" (Touma) again. As they start to discuss him, Touma runs along the sidewalk nearby looking for Index and overhears Kuroko calling him names.
Back at the restaurant, Index and Misaka are starting to do karaoke. Index picks a Magical Powered Kanamin song which Misaka calls a childish choice but as it goes on she begins to like the song. As they leave the restaurant Index asks Misaka if she likes Touma. Before she can say anything Touma arrives and is zapped by an embarrassed Misaka.
