Aleister's 1904 Encounter with Aiwass was an important event in Aleister Crowley's past which occurred in Egypt in 1904.

While on honeymoon with his wife Rose Edith Kelly, Aleister Crowley managed to summon the Holy Guardian Angel Aiwass. Manifesting in Rose's body, Aiwass conveyed secret knowledge to Aleister which he would compile into the Book of the Law, the central text of Thelema. This first encounter, believed to mark the dawn of the Aeon of Horus, would have a major effect on Aleister's life and the course of the world's history for the next century.
