During the heat wave, Andou wore a racing swimsuit like the other girls at Tokiwadai.[1] At other times, she presumably wears the standard Tokiwadai uniform.

Andou appears to be somewhat sheltered and had apparently not touched a 'gentleman' in her life.[1]

Andou is the daughter of president of Andou Frozen Foods Group, a frozen food company.[1]

On December 10th, Misaka Mikoto brought Kamijou Touma to School Garden, while Andou and other Tokiwadai girls are discussing Kamijou Touma, rumors concerning gentlemen and why Misaka Mikoto and Shokuhou Misaki are working so hard, with the daughter saying she must bring glory to the group's future.[1]

As a student of Tokiwadai Middle School, Andou can be assumed to be an esper with a Level of 3 or 4, though her ability isn't known.
