Anzai (安西 Anzai?) is a minor character in the Toaru Majutsu no Index series. She is a student in Academy City and is an esper of unknown level whose power is mentioned to involve Telepathy.

When Kamijou Touma and Index are looking for a place to sit in a fast food restaurant, a group of female high school students can be heard nearby, talking about Anzai being rumored to have used telepathy during their last exam. A teachers' meeting was apparently organized because of that, but the people at the meeting apparently agreed that the incident wasn't considered cheating because esper powers were part of the curriculum.[1]
