"How Can I Ever Beat These Geniuses" (どうやって
Synopsis[]
Kuroko pursues Houjou Arei into an abandoned building. Here, she surprises Arei by fighting back despite the injuries she received during the ambush, something that the other party guessed as her pain receptors being dulled by Misaki's Mental Out. Kuroko reveals that she knows about how Arei, who uses an emotion-reading power, is a rare case of a Level 2 in Tokiwadai which only accepts only Level 3s and above, and Arei sees this as a mockery of her efforts.
Not realizing that others also make an effort to improve themselves, Arei faces a counterattack by Kuroko through teleport feints and a high-frequency sound transmitter. However, it only enrages Arei. Then, as Arei about to choke Kuroko, the accumulated damage received by her body during many fights causes her to collapse.
