Cutter

The Cutter (継ぎ目つき刃 (カッター) , Tsugime Tsukiba (Kattā)^?, lit. "Seamed Blade") is a unique ammunition to the United States of America, signed into production by Roberto Katze. When fired, the shell opens up and a hail or cluster of several blades on a designated area.

Principles

It is a type of a bearing cluster weapon, using the power of an 180 mm gun a several thousands of blades are wrapped within the shell like a spring coil. The blades were made to cut easily and countless numbers of them spread out in the shock of the explosion and rain down on an area of seventy meters.

The shells can be fired by mass produced guns, but trajectories should account for the temperature, humidity, wind direction, and the gun itself, as such only skilled troops should be the one to fire Cutters.

Hawaii Invasion Arc

In an ironic twist of fate, the Cutter is used against Roberto Katze himself, along with Hamazura Shiage, Lindy Blueshake, and Leivinia Birdway, by Roseline Krackhart's military volunteers from Pearl Harbor, to secure the President and Lindy more quickly during the Battle of Napali Coast. It only destroys their vehicle's tires however, as is the marines' intention.
