The Avignon branch of Drawly Coffee, as depicted in the anime adaptation.

Drawly Coffee (ドローリコーヒー Dorōri Kōhī?, Yen Press: Melty Coffee) is an international chain of cafés in the world of Toaru Majutsu no Index.[1]

The layout of the store in Avignon is exactly the same as the ones in Japan. The walls facing the road are covered in glass, and in front of the glass, there is a long table with seats lined up in front of it. The center of the floor has booth seats for four and the counter where customers order is all the way in the back. The entire store is a "no smoking" area.[1]

In the Avignon branch, the employees have small flag badges on their shoulders that is used to indicate what languages they could understand. The café serves a variety of coffees, as well as light meals such as salads and sandwiches. The price of coffee and sandwich is 7 Euro.[1]

Document of Constantine ArcEdit

Main article: Document of Constantine Arc

During his visit to Avignon to destroy the Document of Constantine, which was being used by the Roman Catholic Church and God's Right Seat to incite anti-Academy City riots, Kamijou Touma met with Itsuwa and the two visited the Avignon branch of Drawly Coffee to sit down and discuss the situation before regrouping Tsuchimikado Motoharu. Before they finished their talk however, the café was attacked by rioters and they were forced to flee.[1]

  • The café's name was Drory Coffee in the novels, but the anime changes it to Drawly.[2]
  • The name seems to be a reference to the real-life chain Drury Coffee.
