dual existence is the second opening theme for the third season of the Toaru Kagaku no Railgun anime series, Toaru Kagaku no Railgun T, sung by fripSide. The single was released on August 19, 2020.[3] It debuted in the 16th episode of the season, replacing final phase, and was used until the 24th episode.

- This is one of the two openings in Toaru Kagaku no Railgun anime adaptation in general to not include Kamijou Touma, alongside future gazer.
- The opening video contains the most Level 5s in any opening video of the Toaru Majutsu no Index animated adaptations alongside sister's noise.

- Despite Mikoto seen battling the Doppelganger's fake copies in the opening, in actuality, she only cut the threads that the fake copies generate and does not fight them. The ones that she fought however are the ones at the airship and have a different appearance than the fake copies.[4]
