The "Eyepatch Ghost" (眼帯オバケちゃん Gantai Obake-chan?) is an unnamed cosplayer who Kamijou Touma encountered in Shibuya.[1][2][3][4][5]
Appearance[]
She is described as a slim young girl, estimated to be first year middle school age. Her cosplay attire consists of a training swimsuit below a translucent raincoat, closed in front with a large hood and baggy hem, making her look like a comical ghost or clione. She wears a colored contact in her right eye and an eyepatch over her left one.[1] She has decorations in the shape of comical ghosts on her eyepatch and the bow tying her coat, as well as similar images on her swimsuit.[1]
While converted into Aradia's new coven, she wore a cheap-looking replica of the witch's attire, with a wimple and modified bikini, but retained her eyepatch.[4]

Background[]
The cosplayer once had a rival, a girl whose real name she did not know, whom she thought was her friend but whom she also competed with over follower numbers for their videos. Her rival eventually made the mistake of uploading a shoplifting video and had to move away, after which she never heard from her.[3] She came to feel guilty over the incident, wondering if her friend wouldn't have felt the need to gather attention with that video if she had not come out just barely on top in their competition. She subsequently grew even more obsessed, dressing in crazy outfits and receive praise from people online (as well as earning more money than many adults) to forget about reality, but ultimately could not escape it.[3]

The eyepatch ghost with Touma and Index in Shibuya
On December 31st, the eyepatch ghost was in her cosplay and streaming in Shibuya.[1][2] She was one of the people Kamijou Touma made food deliveries to.[1] She later witnessed Aradia's pursuit of him and started recording, mistaking the witch's actions for a PR stunt (but also recalling how BLAU had mentioned Magical Powered Kanamin stuff was happening in Ariake that day). Getting cheese dripped onto her screen from a hot snack of someone in the crowd, she was 'helped' by Aradia and saw her 'help' others (in order to exploit the returning fortune from the Rule of Three).[2]
After sunset, she was one of many people in Shibuya who ended up falling to Aradia's manipulations, with the scar on her heart from her past playing a role, and being converted into her new coven of witches.[3] She subsequently ended up clashing with rioters incited into a 'witch hunt', including a call girl who had been another customer for Touma during his food deliveries.[4] After Touma defeated Aradia and the chaos in Shibuya subsided, she remained for the New Year's celebrations, back in her cosplay attire, and took a selfie with fireworks in the background.[5]

While converted into Aradia's new coven, she possessed a looseleaf Book of Shadows granted to Wiccan witches, and was capable of using it to cast magic, bound to the Rule of Three.[3][4] Her sole seen attempt, tracing her finger along something written in her looseleaf papers to fire a bluish-white beam, misfired and shot off in the wrong direction.[4]
