Toaru Kagaku no Railgun Manga Volume 08 is the eighth volume released for the Toaru Kagaku no Railgun manga series.
The tankobon deals with the second part of Misaka Mikoto's side of the Daihasei Festival Arc. As the Daihaseisai goes into full swing, Misaka 10032 is mistaken by Maaya and Kinuho as Misaka Mikoto's little sister, which allows her to participate in the games. However, the dark side of Academy City begins their move, and she is left missing, what's more difficult for Mikoto is that Misaki has begun manipulating people's memories, especially her friends. She later enlists the help of Kongou, who with much effort, finds Misaka 10032's cat, which can be a possible clue to find her whereabouts. However, despite her power, she is struck down by Member's Baba Yoshio. The volume ends after Maaya and Wannai's combined efforts to defeat Yoshio and his machines, and Mikoto's utter dominance against one of his combat-type robots.
