Rasputin (ラスプーチン Rasupūchin^?) was a notorious magician in early 20th century Russia, who was a major figure in the downfall of the Romanov dynasty and the subsequent course of magic in Russia.^[1]

Following the corruption in Russia's government caused by Rasputin's actions, certain types of magic were banned amongst Russia's Magic Side, however organizations such as Annihilatus would still use them.^[1]

Rasputin was referenced as an example of well-known historical magicians who met an untimely or lonely end.^[3] When talking about the corruption caused by Coronzon which led to the secret creation of an artificial demon such as herself, Qliphah Puzzle 545 remarked that not even Rasputin went that far.^[4]
