Indonesia (インドネシア Indoneshia?), also known as Republic of Indonesia, is a country located mainly in Southeast Asia and some territories in Oceania. It is the fourth largest country in the world by population (surpassed by China, India, and the United States) and the largest island country.

During World War III, a Russian navy submarine was submerged near Indonesia to cut off Academy City's supply line. They tried to find out if at least a single transport ship was headed for Academy City and thought of various possibilities including submarine, but they could not find the answer. Wiretapping their communication, an Academy City submarine was slipping past one of the Russian submarines at a distance of only a few meters.[1]

Coronzon Arc[]

Following the evacuation of Academy City on December 12th, the students of Tokiwadai Middle School chose to go to the Indonesian island of Bali until the situation was resolved.[3] Misaka Mikoto and Shokuhou Misaki secretly brought the Anti-Art Attachment along with them, thoroughly reconfigured and disguised as a piece of avant-garde art. After learning of Touma's involvement in the situation in London, they flew there on the A.A.A. while the other girls remained on Bali.[4]
