In the Toaru Kagaku no Railgun anime, he's shown denying that he knows anything about the Lever Upper to [[Misaka Mikoto]], who's undercover alongside [[Shirai Kuroko]]. His friend tries to persuade Mikoto to trade him not cash, but her company for the info, but with a convincing act, Mikoto manages to have them accept cash for the info they have, and they move to a secluded alleyway near a power plant to conduct the deal. Junta tries to make Mikoto hand over all the funds she has before telling her what he knows, but Mikoto fries him easily. The others, seeing Mikoto subdue Junta, prepare to fight her, revealing that they used the Level Upper to gain abilities equal to Level 2, but Mikoto easily subdues them as well. The gang's leader, Elder Sister, who saw what they were doing, forces them to apologize to Mikoto before sending them away.

Junta (ジュンタ Junta?) is a minor character in the Toaru Kagaku no Railgun sidestory. He is part of a gang of thugs led by Elder Sister, and is a user of the Level Upper.
