Kamachi Kazuma, a author of Toaru Majutsu no Index and several other light novel series, debuted in Dengeki Bunko on April 10th 2004 with the very first volume of Toaru Majutsu no Index. On July 10th 2020, Dengeki Bunko released Kamachi Kazuma's 100th light novel under Dengeki Bunko label, the second volume of Souyaku Toaru Majutsu no Index. Dengeki Bunko celebrated releasing Kamachi's 100th light novel with comments from illustrators, as well as Kamachi Kazuma's comment on the 100th novel anniversary itself.
