Kirifu Megumi (切斑 芽美?) is a minor character in the A Certain Scientific Railgun side story. She is a student in Tokiwadai Middle School in Academy City and is also a Level 4 esper whose power is telekinesis.
Appearance
She appears as young middle school girl with a slender body frame, making her seem boyish in appearance. Complementing this is light colored hair that is bobbed cut.
Personality
As to be expected of a girl going to Tokiwadai Middle School, she has a lofty attitude, and have a somewhat teasing demeanor, even on fellow Tokiwadai students. Although, she has shown concern when her trickery has gone too far.
Chronology
A Certain Scientific Railgun
In her debut appearance in the Railgun manga, she and her friends see Kongou Mitsuko gathering people to form a clique. Thinking that Mitsuko must be conceited to form a clique since she just transferred in, Megumi decides to play a joke on her by controlling her fan with her own power, but she unwittingly takes it too far when Mitsuko falls down a flight of stairs. Later, she apparently apologizes to Mitsuko but refuses her offer of joining her clique before leaving.[1]
