Kongou Mitsuko's Father (婚后光子の父親 Kongō Mitsuko no Chichioya?) is the unnamed head of Kongou Airlines.
Appearance[]
Much like his daughter, he has a prominent forehead, flanked by two fringes of his black hair. He wears a traditional Japanese attire consisting of a black kimono with a light gray coat.[1]
Background[]
When he was a student, he had a friend who did a fair number of stupid things. He still keeps in contact with this friend, who is travelling around the world, by letter.[2] It is later confirmed by Railgun manga editor Ogino Kentarou that this friend is indeed Misaka Tabigake.[3]

The night before the Silent Party, Kongou Mitsuko contacts her father to request the use of the Ekaterina II S against STUDY. He then speaks to a worker in the company's second factory in Academy City, asking him if he can go along with his daughter's request.[1]
Daihasei Festival Arc[]

Kongou is with her father during the Night Parade in the night of the first day of Daihaseisai. While in the manga, they are standing together in a street, they are in a car in the adaptation.[4][5]
