As if a theme, all three girls that Yomikawa Aiho contacted are named after a type of fruit. Although, in this case, the characters in Kurumi's name can be translated as Walnut.
Of the three that Aiho contacts in the public bandwith of Anti-Skill, Kurumi's style of speech shows that anxiety and worry, insisting on using a private channel to communicate with her colleagues.
Kurumi is acquainted with Aiho, though it is unknown if they operate from the same branch. Kurumi may have been dispatched the previous night to help with the search for the culprit that broke the Calculate Fortress of the Windowless Building.

- Main article: Ichihanaran Festival Arc
Aiho first contacts Kurumi, along with Hakutou and Sumomo, after becoming suspicious of the strange information blackout regarding the attack on the Windowless Building, as well as the movements of the not-too-subtle Fräulein Kreutune. Kurumi answers directly, but pretty much confirms that she is aware of it too, as she asks all of them to speak in a private bandwith. For most of the conversation Kurumi insists on changing the bandwith.
Aiho later plans on taking Kurumi, and tells both Sumomo and Hakutou to go back to the station to secure paper reports if possible, if not, then retrieve the temporary cache from the copier. It is assumed that she acquiesces to Aiho's order and rendezvoused with her later.
- (To Aiho, from NT 6): "Wait, wait, wait! This really isn’t something we should be discussing over the official bandwidth. You’re wondering who could pull off a trick like that, right?"
