Marionette (spell)

Marionette (操敵（マリオネッテ）, lit. Enemy Manipulation (Marionette)^?) is a spell used by Ladylee Tangleroad in Toaru Majutsu no Index Struggle Battle event "Rescue Operation! Magic that appeared in the Cage of Endymion" (救出作戦！エンデュミオンの檻, "Rescue Operation! Magic that appeared in the Cage of Endymion"^?), an event that seemingly coincides with the movie. Ladylee uses this magic to manipulate people regardless of being from the Magic or Science Side prior to the completion of the Endymion. The mark of being controlled is apparently identifiable on a person's face.

Toaru Majutsu no Index Struggle Battle

Ladylee takes control of a nearby institute and its students, as well as magicians from outside the city, and has Shutaura Sequenzia, who was also manipulated as well, blockade the area. Eventually, Ladylee is able to control the Sisters, Tsuchimikado Motoharu, Shirai Kuroko, Orsola Aquinas, Himegami Aisa, Musujime Awaki, and Oriana Thomson. Touma and Index join Usamimi and the Player to defeat Shutaura and Ladylee and release their control over them.
