Nagatenjouki Academy is one of the top 5 most prestigious schools in Academy City (supposedly Number 1). Unlike Tokiwadai, entry is not restricted to only espers; people with special skills despite never having undergone the power curriculum (Gemstones) and even those who never manifested any abilities at all are allowed admittance. It was also stated to have beaten Tokiwadai in last year's Daihaisai Festival.
