When Touma rushes to treat Parsifal, he discovers that Parsifal is still breathing. Touma then sees a group of students leaving, but when he tries to get them to call an ambulance, he notices the boundary that's separating him, Stiyl, and Parsifal from the building and the students. He tries to break the boundary by punching the floor with his [[Imagine Breaker]], but only manages to hurt himself, which leads Stiyl to theorize that the boundary has to be destroyed at the core. As he also theorizes that the core is outside the boundary, he assumes that he and Touma are trapped. With no access to the outside world, Touma becomes desperate to save Parsifal, but Stiyl tells him that Parsifal cannot be saved. Stiyl then carries out his duty as a priest to send the dead on the last ride, saying something in a language Touma couldn't understand. Parsifal tells something to Stiyl, and Stiyl nods in response. Main article: Deep Blood Arc

When Kamijou Touma and Stiyl Magnus infiltrate Misawa Cram School, Touma notices Parsifal's crushed body, mistaking it for a robot, and wonders why no one else is noticing it. Stiyl then tells him that the "robot" is actually the corpse of one of the Thirteen Knights of the Roman Catholic Church, and wonders aloud if "the guy in formalin" planned to have him and Touma fail their mission. Rushing to treat Parsifal, Touma discovers that Parsifal is still breathing. When he tries to get a group of nearby students to call an ambulance, he notices the boundary that's separating him, Stiyl, and Parsifal from the building and the students. He tries to break the boundary by punching the floor with his Imagine Breaker, but only manages to hurt himself, which leads Stiyl to theorize that the boundary has to be destroyed at the core. Also theorizing that said core must be outside the boundary, he assumes that he and Touma are trapped. His burden apparently lifted, Parsifal passes away.[1]
