Pyrokinesis (発火能力 hakka nouryoku?, lit. "Ignition Power") is the psychic power to create flames. The general term for this kind of Esper is Pyrokinesist.
In other works, Ignition Power (Pyrokinesis) is - as the name indicates - the power that makes possible to start a fire. Apparently, a "scientific" rationale for it involves raising the motion of a target's molecules through Telekinesis in order to ignite it. In cases were a fire is started when there is no combustible materials, not just heating power but there might also be a realization-factor involved.
