Pyrokinesis (発火能力 (パイロキネシス) , Hakka Nōryoku (Pairokineshisu)^?, lit. "Ignition Power") is the psychic power to create flames. The general term for this kind of Esper is Pyrokinesist.

In other works, Ignition Power (Pyrokinesis) is - as the name indicates - the power that makes starting a fire possible. Apparently, a "scientific" rationale for it involves raising the motion of a target's molecules through Telekinesis in order to ignite it. In cases where a fire is started when there is no combustible materials, not just heating power but also a realization factor might be involved. Apparently, one can manipulate the flames the esper created to home on a target.

The AIM they emit cause their surroundings to become warmer.
