Red Town (レッドタウン Reddo Taun?) is a global food chain,[1][2][3] apparently based in Los Angeles and providing Western variants on Eastern food.[1][2][3]

Principles[]

According to Tsukuyomi Komoe, Red Town is a monstrous global chain, one that has supposedly made yakisoba a household term across the world, though theirs is considerably different from what Kamijou Touma might call yakisoba.[1] Judging from what the two have said, the chain is apparently based in Los Angeles.[1][2]

The delivery made to the Tsukuyomi Residence came in tall, boxy cardboard packages.[1] The 'yakisoba' (said to be the Los Angeles-style), had red ketchup, a ton of slice olives, pizza cheese melted on top, cinnamon, and sprinkled on the top, where one might expect red pickled ginger, red cranberries.[1] After initially suspecting a Chinese takeout from the appearances of the boxes, on seeing the contents and confirming that it was a not bad joke, Touma suspected that things had gone wrong as they had passed from one country to another (like in a telephone game), thinking that he should have expected something barely resembling real Chinese food, given that they had used the Japanese word yakisoba rather than an actual Chinese dish name written with complicated hanzi.[1]

Food items known to be provided by Red Town include the aforementioned 'yakisoba',[1] kiwi gyoza,[2] and fried rice sandwiches.[3]

On December 29th, Tsukuyomi Komoe had ordered a delivery of Red Town food for dinner. Kamijou Touma, who was taking supplementary lessons at her place and low on funds for food, was somewhat put off by the nature of their 'yakisoba'.[1] A little later on, after the Overhunting crash and prisoner escape, Hanatsuyu Youen expressed a fancy for some Red Town kiwi gyoza, provoking a remark about LA from Touma nearby.[2] Benizome Jellyfish would also acquire and snack on a Red Town fried rice sandwich and banana spring rolls.[3]
