SMILE -You & Me- is the special insert song used as the ending theme for the conclusion of the Level Upper Arc at the end of Episode 12 of the Toaru Kagaku no Railgun anime; after the song is initially inserted the visuals slowly fades into the one used by Dear My Friend -Mada Minu Mirai e-.
It is part of the Dear My Friend －まだ見ぬ未来へ－ single released on November 4, 2009. Like the other Toaru Kagaku no Railgun ending themes it is sung by ELISA. Emi Nishida provided the lyrics for the song, while Takuya Watanabe wrote the music, and finally Takeshi Masuda provided the arrangement. It is sung entirely in English, and has the same tune as that of Dear My Friend -Mada Minu Mirai e-.
