• The chapter's subtitle, "Duel_and_Struggle,_XXX.Revenge", is close to that of Chapter 4 of Souyaku Toaru Majutsu no Index Volume 9, "Duel_and_Struggle,CRC.", which also featured a battle between Kamijou Touma and Johann Valentin Andreae posing as CRC (Christian Rosencreutz). Given that his true identity is now in the open, compared to back then, it is likely that the XXX could be either CRC (his assumed initials) or JVA (his true initials), and might have been chosen to reflect this ambiguity.
