Much like the one for Index III, the purpose of this thread is to try and help with the collective work on the wiki surrounding the upcoming Toaru Kagaku no Accelerator anime (which airs in less than three months from the time of writing); to keep interested and involved contributors up-to-date with the relevant developments, to discuss matters connected to the work, and to help coordinate collective efforts on the wiki.
There is a lot less ground to be covered than for the work surrounding Index III, but there is still much to be done and not much time to do it in, in addition to the remaining Index III work and the work to follow for Railgun III, so we'll need help if we are to pull it off successfully in time.
First off, are there any volunteers who would like to help out with this endeavour?
I already modified some articles in preparation of it (images for Esther and Tarantula thanks to the PV, group image for Scavenger, images for DA and other modifications), so I guess I'm already involved.
Edit: does anyone know the identity of the red haired woman equipped with some sort of exoskeleton that Yomikawa fights in the PV?
That's perfectly OK, though it has reminded me of something - there are a number of images which are now unused as a result of infobox/navbox image shifts. I was thinking it might be an idea to make a note or keep a log when we do such shifts so we don't have to spend much time in trying to verify the now-unused images again later. What do you reckon?
Only about three minutes of the first episode had premiered yesterday. It was original. After that Okamoto Nobuhiko, Accelerator's VA, introduced anime and THE SIXTH LIE played opening theme. If you're interested, you can re-watch the show here (Youtube). A raildex fan film a video.
The three new characters that are probably anime original and show up in the trailers: the red haired (cyborg? Powered Suit?) girl that showed up in both, a glasses wearing teenage girl in uniform and a tall man that showed up with red haired girl in the second trailer. They might be part of DA.
Also new pieces of technology that might get introduced.
As for locations, maybe Yomikawa's Anti Skill station.
With regards to Episode 2, Kaysuami, there are going to be scenes from the first chapters, though the cut-off point isn't known at time of writing. Please keep an eye out for images concerning Hitokawa Hasami, Nishio and the Prototype Coffin.
I was thinking we could perhaps use a few more images from Episode 3 (flashback, charms, reanimation, Hishigata, thrown bento, restaurant, morgue (Accel/Esther), Nephentesion) - can anyone think of any others? (there will probably be a better image for the Random Number Ultrasonic Blade next episode)
Sorry, I should have been a bit more specific there. What I was considering was possibly switching the member list on the DA article to a table, similar to the approach for the Kamisato Faction, given the extra data.
In magazine version of chapter cover of Toaru Kagaku no Railgun Manga Chapter 90, Seike's gender is written as unknown. However, its reference removed in tankobon version of chapter cover of Railgun Chapter 90. Seike's esper ability is control of coefficient of friction, but Seike's exact ability name and level are still unknown.
I added a note next to Seike's gender information.
Not feeling particularly well. Anticipated coverage for today's episode is between chapters 18 and 22. The Coffins will be certainly be showing up. There might be glimpses of Seiin High School and Emperor Shun's Blade. If there are flashbacks for Esther's time with the Hishigatas this episode, the attempted revival is one to look out for.
Hundun uses a strengthened Stealth Hide (ステルスハイド,Stealth Hide?) ability equivalent of Level 5. This ability makes the user invisible by dulling the senses of the people around them, making it similar in nature to the Dummy Check ability used by Juufuku Miho in the Toaru Kagaku no Railgun anime.
It goes without saying that the remaining bits of Chapters 32 & 33, and the whole of Chapters 34-36 will be covered today. The loss of control, ascent, joint stabbing, death, the explosive collapse, redirection into space and farewells are among the stuff to look out for.
