A Certain Scientific Accelerator or Toaru Kagaku no Accelerator (とある科学の一方通行(アクセラレータ) Toaru Kagaku no Ippō Tsūkō?) is the fifth manga series that is based off the Toaru Majutsu no Index franchise. Carrying the "Scientific" title of the series, it is like Toaru Kagaku no Railgun as unlike the Toaru Majutsu no Index Manga, which is an adaptation of the light lovels, the Toaru Kagaku no Accelerator manga is an original side story written by Kamachi Kazuma himself. Artwork is done by Yamaji Shin and will be serialized on December 27, 2013 in Dengeki Daioh with its sister-series Toaru Kagaku no Railgun.[1]
Background
Not much is currently known, though it will most likely feature the adventures of Accelerator in Academy City. Promotional pictures indicate that the events of the manga occur after his defeat at the hands of Kamijou Touma and the gunshot wound that he received at the hands of Amai Ao.
The manga's announcement coincides with the Toaru Kaki no Campaign. Moreover, a teaser was released for it by Dengeki, alongside a teaser for the 8th Shinyaku Toaru Majutsu no Index light novel volume.
