- While she has appeared in the background of a volume bonus 4-koma in the interim, Kumamori last appeared in a main chapter of this series in Chapter 12,[1] with the others' reaction to her possibly a nod to this prolonged absence.
- Although not directly stated with regards to previous events, Shokuhou and Kamino are again associated with a fox and a tanuki (two animals associated with trickery and seen in a rivalry), something they were previously humorously depicted as in a panel during a previous conversation.[2]
- Yuiitsu refers to Shokuhou with the derogatory "fox word" (
