Fixed Temperature (恒溫 Kōon?) is the 117th chapter of the Toaru Kagaku no Railgun manga series, released on August 27th 2019 in Monthly Comic Dengeki Daioh.
Synopsis[]
Aohoshi confronts Kimi for the first time since the latter's escape, realizing that her comrades were used as bait and Uiharu was kidnapped after the Jailbreak Trial. Although Kimi knows that both Tsurigane and Raifu agreed to fight those who will try to impede the plan and even Tsurigane showed concern about the transformation happening on her right hand, she did not say anything to Aohoshi.

As Saten continues to look around, Uiharu is compelled to begin her "work" while inside a cramped room with a Josephson computer, three brainwashed guards and some iced tea. Knowing that she cannot force her way out, she tries making the guards uncomfortable by causing the computer to generate a lot of heat. Although initially effective, the guards are prepared with their own cooling bottles, making her plan into a battle of attrition between her and the guards. She narrowly wins by using her ability Thermal Hand on a piece of ice stuck to her neck artery, preventing her from reaching heat stroke.
After tending to the unconscious guards, Uiharu begins looking for the way out. While hacking a nearby terminal, she discovers camera footage of Saten being led to another part of the facility of a senior guard who mistook her for a low-ranking trainee.

- Uiharu manages to escape her guards by using her ability Thermal Hand to outlast her guards while in a high-temperature environment.

- Uiharu's flower had withered due to heat in the room, but it went back to normal after drinking water.

- Tsurigane is still considering her duty for Oumi Shuri, despite betraying her.[2][3] Also, Tsurigane did not know that she had been expelled from the Kouga by Oumi Shuri due to being unconscious at the time.[4]
- Saten uses the alias "Saten Akemi" as she disguised herself. This is a reference to her friend, Akemi. whose last appearance was in chapter 80.[5]
