Encounter (遭逢 Souhou?) is a special chapter after Chapter 132 of the Toaru Kagaku no Railgun manga series, released on April 27th 2021 in Monthly Comic Dengeki Daioh.
Synopsis[]
While on her way to meet with Misaka Mikoto, Kessai Kiyoshi discovers her bickering with the other Level 5 of Tokiwadai, Shokuhou Misaki. Mikoto later reveals that it wasn't the first time they met, and a previous encounter the week prior started with Shokuhou displaying contempt towards her after somehow recognizing her. Mikoto misunderstood this as Misaki not liking her looks, but Ruri dispels her worries. After meeting Ruri for the first time, Kiyoshi then accompanies them to a certain vending machine, where she discovers that Mikoto has learned from Ruri the "technique" of kicking the vending machine to get free canned drinks.
