- The chapter title is derived from Shokuhou Misaki's whistle, gifted to her by Kamijou Touma (as glimpsed in the chapter).[1]
- The theatre is said to hold 2000 people. In the present day, Shokuhou's full power is capable of controlling up to 10-14 people to a more complex level and up to three digits with only simple commands,[2][3] hence the need for Exterior for her to control the four digit number of people in the theatre while filtering out the Tokiwadai students.

- Asato Kisa recalls the talk between Hasekura Reiri and Shokuhou Misaki, as well as Hasekura's reckoning that Shokuhou had potential as a clique leader, when Shokuhou takes the lead in directing the Tokiwadai students to getting people out to safety from the fire.[4]
- When reading the residual information on the necklace worn by Midinette's owner and hearing her refer to the cat as 'Mii-chan', Shokuhou recalls Dolly calling her 'Mii-chan' during their time at Clone Dolly,[5][6] leading her to go after the cat.
- When Shokuhou collapses and sees her whistle, she remembers when she received it from Kamijou Touma, though she is unable to blow it this time.[7]

- The cat's name, Midinette, is a term (derived from French, from midi ("midday") and dinette (the diminutive form of diner, "dinner")) used to refer to a shopgirl or seamstress, especially in Paris.
