Toaru Majutsu no Index: Gaiten Shoko Light Novel Volume 1 is the first installment of the Toaru Majutsu no Index: Gaiten Shoko light novel series. It was released on June 10, 2020.[1] A 60 page long preview was released by Book Walker.[2]
It is a compilation of the side-stories for Toaru Majutsu no Index originally included in the limited edition DVD/Blu-ray releases of the first two seasons of the Toaru Kagaku no Railgun anime and the bonus light novel originally given away to the first 103,000 attendees of the Toaru Majutsu no Index Movie: Miracle of Endymion movie during its theatrical run in Japan.
