Major Events
- Acqua of the Back defeats the Knight Leader, using the hidden weapons inside Ascalon to bypass the Knight Leader's Thororm's Defense Formula.
- When Carissa returns to Buckingham Palace to tune the unstable Curtana Original, Kamijou Touma, Index and Princess Villian infiltrate the facility under the palace and enable the Anglicans to exploit it, together with a long-range flash spell from the Coven Compass, to overload the sword and disperse some of its power.
- After a last supper, with the Coven Compass in position and the power released into London having dispersed to a safe level, the Anglicans prepare to attack Buckingham Palace in order to destroy the Curtana. Meanwhile, Queen Elizard arrives at London and prepares to make her own move.

- The basis of the Knight Leader's defensive spell comes from the Icelandic Saga of Gunnlaugr Serpent-Tongue, where the eponymous Gunnlaugr duels a berserk named Thororm, whose eyes are able to dull any weapon they see. Gunnlaugr defeats him by killing him with another sword than the one he showed him before the battle began.[1]
- Mökkurkalfe is a prefabricated giant made out of clay from Norse mythology, created to fight against Thor, the God of thunder, and the strongest God in Norse mythology.[2]
Differences in Adaptation
In the novel, Touma considers Carissa's attack as another exeption of Imagine Breaker because he couldn't completely negate it. This reminds him his memory loss and his lack of knowledge about Imagine Breaker, but also the "Dragon Breath" from the Deep Blood Arc that he couldn't explain.[3]
Animation Trivia
- The Knight Leader's Thororm-based defensive spell is visually represented by attacks dissipating into green zeroes.
