Heroes (英雄達 Eiyū-tachi?) is the fourteenth episode of the third season of the Toaru Majutsu no Index anime series. It was broadcast on January 11th 2019, and was directed by Onoda Yusuke and Awai Shigeki, was storyboarded by Watanabe Takashi and Ochi Kojin, and the script written by Yoshino Hiroyuki.

Major Events[]
- The countercoup forces face Carissa in a final battle at Buckingham Palace. Wielding the Curtana Original, and with additional support from the Griffin Skies and Bunker Clusters, Carissa easily holds her own, despite the large number of adversaries (including several Saint-class opponents), long-range bombardment from the Coven Compass and the knights being swayed after Riméa reveals her hidden motives.
- After Queen Elizard uses the Union Jack to distribute power held by the Curtana to the people of the United Kingdom and Index creates a brief opening, Kamijou Touma is launched at Carissa by Acqua and destroys the Curtana Original with Imagine Breaker, ending the coup.
- Fiamma of the Right takes advantage of the chaos to steal the remote control for Index's John's Pen mode and is heading to Russia to take possession of Sasha Kreutzev.

Differences in Adaptation[]
- The scene where Vento and Sasha Kreutzev headed to the Elizalina Alliance of Independent Nations together is not adapted.[1]
- Despite being present in the dinner before the battle in the palace, Agnese Forces does not appear in this episode.
- The anime did not adapt scenes where people empowered by Union Jack helped to defeat Carissa.
