- This chapter was released with limited editions of the third Blu-Ray/DVD volume for Toaru Kagaku no Railgun T.[9]
- Scenes from this chapter (namely Agnese reprimanding Angelene for doing a side-job for snack funds and setting her up for the sting operation, and Angelene riding her bicycle with Agnese and Lucia following on the rooftops) were depicted in the special Toaru Kagaku no Railgun chapter promoting the side story.[10]

- Although not named, the Ceremony of Ba Moun was previously referred to during the nun's discussion of Voodoo curses at Nihili Padpois's restaurant during the incident in Barcelona.[11]

- The world's first bicycle, which was thought to have been in Germany, that Angelene was reminded of while riding her bike,[4] is likely the Laufmaschine (German for "running machine"), also known as the vélocipède or draisienne, a forerunner to the bicycle which was invented by Karl Drais in 1817.
- Frau Halveria refers to several Loa (or Mystère), deity figures in Voodoo, in some of her spells:[6][8]
- Baron Samedi is the head of the Ghede loa, associated with the dead.[6] Dressed in a top hat and black tail coat, he is often depicted with the appearance of a skeleton. Found at the crossroads between life and death,[6] he digs the graves of the deceased, greets their souls and leads them to the underworld. Though associated with death, he is also called on for healing for those close to death, being able to cure diseases, wounds and hexes if he deems it worthwhile, and possessing great power with regards to curses and black magic.
- Loko Atisou is a loa associated with healers and plants.[8]
- Brave Ghede is the guardian and watchman of the graveyard, who keeps dead souls in and living souls out.[8]
