Around the time of Tokiwadai's student council presidential election in October,[2][3][1] Shokuhou Misaki was investigating a Relic (『
The "Senior" who claimed to have been the previous #1 Level 5.
Increased movement that day had also been seen with other individuals, connected to Academy City's "previous generation", said to be mysterious and rarely mentioned.[5] This generation also apparently included the previous 1st-ranked Level 5 esper, before Accelerator assumed the position, apparently in a cubic form in the present.[6] There was also a Level 5 who possessed a spatial control ability.[7]
Tokiwadai's Student Council Election[]
In October, elections for Tokiwadai Middle School's student council were being held, specifically the Student Council Presidential Election (生徒会長選挙 Seitokaichō Senkyo?).[2][8][3][1]
The candidates in the current year's election were Gaouin Tsukasa (the current vice-president of the student council),[2] Kamino, Kokuchou Mayui, Iori Mashiro, Inubushi, Kumamori Tazuna, Tatsuki Mirei,[5] and Shokuhou Misaki, who had joined after provocations from Gaouin and the urging of her clique (the largest in Tokiwadai).[2]

The produced Shadow Metal, in a cubic form.
During an incident on the second day of the Daihaseisai, a large quantity of Shadow Metal was produced,[9][10][5] with the day marking an increase in activity by the previous generation and the group represented by two squares, the latter seeking the Shadow Metal, said to exist in the form of cubic crystals.[3][5] In the same incident, Shokuhou Misaki encountered Kouzaku Mitori, both former subjects of Clone Dolly, and after a reunion with their mutual friend Dolly, Kouzaku came to carry out a number of investigations on Shokuhou's behalf.[Assemble respective Railgun/Astral/Mental Out manga references][11][12][4]
Not long afterwards, Shokuhou was involved events surrounding the distribution of Indian Poker and Hokaze Junko's meeting with a disembodied girl, legacies of Clone Dolly's third lab Ideal, with another figure from Clone Dolly manipulating events in the background.[Assemble respective Astral/Mental Out manga references][1]
