When the Amakusas were on the run due to a group impersonating them to steal the pass given as a reward for passing the admission test for Necessarius, Torquay, sitting on a roof of a church bell tower, received a communication from one of his colleagues saying that individuals resembling the Amakusa had been spotted driving a stolen tanker truck and told him to attack when he saw fit.[1]
Acknowledging the order, Torquay looked for his target with binoculars, spotting the tanker around 3-4km away. Briefly wondering if they got tired of sneaking around, Torquay selected which church bells to use to target and accurately bomb his enemy. Striking his staff to ring the bells, he looked at the tanker again as he prepared to launch the attack, saying how their spells were honed to levels greater than thugs like the Amakusa could imagine. However he then noticed, to his anger, that the Amakusa had chosen a route passing by hospitals and student dormitories, preventing him from attacking.[1]
Abilities
Torquay's Magic involves the use of church bells. The church bells have inscriptions on them, so that when they are rung the effect described by the inscription can reach every corner of the city they are in. By using combinations of multiple bells and ringing them in a specific order, the inscriptions can be linked to produce certain effects.[1]
Torquay also makes use of a brass staff with several small bells on the end, which can be used to ring the church bells remotely and can also be used for communication purposes.[1]
